The new model enhances safety, comfort, and fitting efficiency, while streamlining manufacturing to meet increasing demand. With improved functionality and accessibility, the 2.0 model continues Kyaro’s mission to provide individualized mobility solutions across East Africa.

Introducing Our New Wheelchair Configuration Page
In places like Tanzania, assistive technology is generally made for people with disabilities without much consideration for their unique needs and preferences. We are taking an active step to change this by introducing our Wheelchair Configuration tool. This page on our site will let people “design” their own wheelchair dynamically with our assessors!

Design Diary - 2023 Wheelchair Upgrade
To prevent the scenario in which wheelchairs languish unused after a year because of a simple maintenance task, we decided to include a repair kit with every wheelchair we make starting this month. All our chairs will now ship with a tire pump and a set of replacement covers.
